The sacral chakra is known as the sexual centre, and the centre of self worth, creativity and intuition.
It resides in the same space as the womb (or the energetic womb, for men or those who do not have physical wombs) which is the portal of creation.
For a vast majority of us, we have held deep trauma, shame, guilt and societal conditioning within our sacral and womb space, stunting our ability to experience a healthy embodiment of our sexual energy, and our sexuality.
In turn, preventing us from fully harnessing the power that is our own creative life-force energy.
